The Coalition of Lighthouse Schools exists to create a dynamic learning community of schools that are utilizing one-to-one computing to empower students and teachers to lead in the twenty-first century.

Membership

Join The Coalition of Lighthouse Schools in its mission to maximize the unique relation it has with Apple computers by formally operating and expanding the school member network. A larger member group of independent or charter one-to-one laptop schools will enable the Coalition to expand its services and work more effectively with Apple. Additionally, a larger network will offer more collaboration opportunities and give us all more access to educators and colleagues with new and cutting edge ideas for new technologies in the curriculum, classroom and school.

The Benefits of Membership

  • Creating collegial connections with professionals from other one-to-one independent schools
  • Sharing resources, expertise and experience with teachers, administrators and technology specialists
  • Cutting edge professional development at a focused annual conference for Coalition members -- iSummit
  • Sharing in the educational resources provided by Apple
  • Sponsorship from Apple, with a direct relationship with Apple Education

  • Would you like to network and collaborate with other private schools that also share your passionand belief that one-to-one learning is a powerful and effective way to educate the “digital kids” of the twenty-first century?
